Hemp is a natural material, not planted by man. It does not require pesticides or herbicides, only sunlight, natural soil, and water. Hemp is a plant with the highest CO2 regeneration power.
Water Consumption
Hemp production uses 10 times less than cotton production. The most water consuming step in Hemp production is washing of the material to soften hemp fibers to obtain the threads. It is primarily rain water that is used for this process.
Natural Dyes
biodegradable, recyclable and decomposable in nature. Natural dyes do not contain any toxic chemicals or waste. Natural dyes come mainly from fruits, herbs, leaves and bark.
Fair Wages
Our Hemp is weaved and produced by artisan locals all over Nepal. They are respected for their expertise, knowledge and artistic understanding of Hemp material.
